Olive and Bean

Olive and Bean is located behind Eldon Square on Clayton Street. This Café serves up some of the very best brunch in Newcastle, including: poached egg, avocado, bacon, indulgent smoothies, bagels and more! They take pride in their food being fresh, homemade and home baked for ultimate flavoursome food. As well as brunch, Olive and Bean offer incredible bakes, such as Aero and Malteser tray bake, which you can enjoy alongside a cup of yummy hot chocolate, coffee or cup of tea.

The Dispensary Coffee House

It was extremely hard for me to choose the best image for The Dispensary Coffee House. Their Instagram, well, my mouth was watering. This brunch restaurant is a small coffee shop, big on quality and taste. The Dispensary is located on Heber Street, close to St James’ Park football stadium. This café offers a wide range of tasty brunch meals including Lotus, Daim, Chocolate Orange brownie pancakes, scrumptious chicken waffles, full English breakfasts and a range of hot chocolates. You will find The Dispensary Coffee House is full of flavoursome delights.

Arlos

Arlos is a well-known café located in Jesmond, just a short walk from Newcastle city centre or short metro journey. They cook up delicious brunches such as a full English, waffles and granola bowls. Arlos uses the very best ingredients, sourced from local sources and cooked by experienced and passionate chefs. Inside this café is a warm and whole hearted atmosphere, creating a venue where you can sit until your heart’s content. As well as brunch, Arlos offers an evening Bistro & bar and pleasurable home baked cakes, quiches, scones and cake bakes.

Located in the hidden lands of Ouseburn is the Ernest cafe. The Ernest is open all day everyday and serves brunch as well as lunch, coffee, dinner and cocktails. Brunch is served from 10am-3pm so if you’re feeling hungover, you have an ideal window to get yourself down for a full English. Brunch includes, local hero breakfast, vegan breakfast, eggs served any way, Shakshuka and organic oat porridge. Freshly cooked and served.

Aidan’s Kitchen

Aidian’s Kitchen is located in Sandyford Newcastle, a short walk from Newcastle city centre. Their brunch menu is rather delicious, offering stacked pancakes, French toast, a full English breakfast and more. This restaurant provides a takeaway option 9am-4pm everyday, perfect if you’re on the go. Aidian’s Kitchen pride themselves on using fresh and local ingredients such as their roasted coffee, all at affordable prices.

The Horticulture is located on Market lane, near Greys Street. This cafe / restaurant serves up a tremendous brunch menu from 10am-3pm Tuesday to Sunday, offering a delicious and mouth-watering selection. The Horticulture cook up gorgeous crispy eggs to succulent steak, a perfect combination to start your day. Their food is of outstanding quality, using only the best ingredients and the most incredible flavours.

Butterfly Cabinet

The Butterfly Cabinet serves a tremendous breakfast all day and everyday. If you’re hungover their fry ups are said to be the perfect hangover cure and their fluffy pancakes are said to taste incredible. They also serve up tasty omelettes, muffins, fruit yoghurts and more, a great variety providing something for everyone. The butterfly Cabinet is just a short taxi ride from the city centre or short walk, located in Heaton.

Located in Jesmond is Cafe 1901, a comforting and homely space, ideal for being social or relaxing. All their dishes are carefully prepared and cooked with the finest ingredients and graceful hands.
